Scott D. Walker is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner and the founder of Walker Financial Advisors, Inc. Scott was raised in a banking family in Kearney, Nebraska, and had the good fortune to work in the bank during his high school years. Scott went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 1980, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance and economics.
Following graduation, he moved to Orange County and was accepted into the management training program with Security Pacific National Bank (which was later acquired by Bank of America). In 1985, Scott transitioned into the financial advisory business. In 1986, he earned the CFP designation and founded Walker Financial, as a registered investment advisor with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.
Scott, and his associate Warren Isenberg, CFP have worked together for eleven years and currently manage over $60 million for 130 clients.
Scott is past President of the Orange County Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, and is currently serving as President of the Mission Viejo Rotary Club. He and his family have resided in San Clemente since 1985.
